About Department

The University Department of Physical Education is located in the inspiring natural surroundings of Sayhadri ranges of mountains and in the vally of Kham River . The Department has very fine and standardized play fields, stadium Swimming Pool, Gymnasium Hall etc. Which are useful for conducting sports activities like Cricket, Hockey, Kabbadi, Volleyball, Kho-Kho etc. The Department has also made residential arrangements for players near the play fields. Thus the facilities provided by the Department are so well planned that sports culture is shared both by citizens and students in the region as well. The infrastructural development is getting a new shape due to proper support by the University administration and Government authorities as well.
