About Department

The Department of Environmental Science was established in June 1985. The department offers M.Sc and Ph.D degree in Environmental Science as a commitment to higher education to rural youth. The department has produced more than 450 post graduate students and more than 60 Ph.D students so far. The major domains of research activities are in the areas of Environmental monitoring, Environmental Managements, Water Pollution, Waste Water Treatment, Solid and Hazardous waste Management...
