About Department

The post Graduate department of Geography was started during the Academic year 2009-10. It was the long pending demand of the students of Marathwada region to introduce the Geography subject in the campus of University. The newly formed department was inaugurated by Dr. Sridhar Gupte, renowned geographer and former Vice-Chancellor of Pune University on 14th August 2009. Dr. Nagnath Kotapalle the Vice- Chancellor of our University was presided over the function.
