Extension Activities organized by Department
Organization of extension activities, in neighborhood community to sensitize the students to social issues is an in built component of M.S.W. curriculum. Hence these activities are conducted, considering the needs of the community & as expected by governing administrative systems.
Remarkable Extension Activities (2019-2024)
1. Child marriages are seen increased in Marathwada in Post Covid period. In order to prevent this, students of class VIII to class X were decided as the target group to create awareness. Students of 150 schools in Aurangabad district were counseled for child marriage prevention in collaboration with SB3 and SAKAR , Chh. Sambhajinagar in the year 2023.
2. Between October 12, 2022 and January 12, 2023, counselling, seminars and street plays were conducted with assistance of Sehgal Foundation on behalf of Sehgal Foundation on Social Hygiene and Personal Hygiene by visiting various villages of Phulambri and Sillod Blocks through street plays.
3. Play was presented on Controling Crimeand Behavior Modification in Central Jail Harsul, Chh. Sambhajinagar
4. Play on Control on Anger and Temptation to avoid Crime along with at Rights of Criminals at Paithan
5 Play on Organ Donation Awareness in Government Hospital and Training Institute
6. Street Plays on --Read to lead were presented in villages of Paithan Blocks .
7. Rural Camps were organised in villages like Nalani of Bhokardan Block, Wawana, Nidhona of Phulambri Blocks to get exposure of rural areas and issues.
8. College participated in various awareness Programs like HIV/AIDS Rally, Awareness about Mental Health, Cleanliness , Blood Camp, Cancer Awareness , Human Right awareness, awareness for Social Justice.

1.Workshop with the help of GeBBS Foundation on CSR Role in Community Development
2. Workshop on Career in Social Sciences .
3.. On the occasion of Girl Child Day, an awareness workshop was organized for women of Phulumbri Block on the topic of Gender Sensitization. This program is conducted on 11 October.
Through street plays the importance of Self Help Groups in women empowerment, participation in governance awareness about the prevention of infanticide. Like issues have been covered
4. Under the Value Added Course, the Employment and Training Department of the University provide an opportunity of series of lectures on Entrepreneurship Skill Development to the students.
5. Awareness Workshops for family members Treatment to Aged have been organised with the help of Ashtha Foundation .
6. Workshop on - Initiative for Mainstreaming Transgender On 7th and 8th Oct 2023.
