About Department

Introduction

University authority has started SubCampus at Dharashiv from 16th August 2004. The Department of Chemistry is established by the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.-INDIA) in June 2005 at the SubCampus Dharashiv. The Department is one of the best for its teaching, research and extension activities.

Totally University authority is running ten departments. Chemistry Department has three special subjects : Dug Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. These three are interdisciplinary and more applied in current science world.

According to the orders of Maharashtra Government dated 5th August,2004 ,the sub center of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad has been established at Osmanabad.The inauguration of the subcenter was held by the hands of former Deputy Chief Minister respected Shri.Vijaysingh Mohite Patil.The chief Guest of this function was Ex-Vice-Chancellor respected Shri.K.P.Sonawane .The president of the program was respected Dr.Padamsingh Patil. This function was held on 16th August ,2004 at Government Ayurvedic College Osmanabad.

To structure the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University to be an Epitome of Excellence by creating and imparting time responsive Quality Education to address Changing Scenario, keeping Research and Development at its core, for 'Anyone' at 'Anytime' and 'Anywhere'.
