Introduction

The Department of Physics at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sub-campus, Dharashiv was established in June - 2019 with a commitment to providing quality education and fostering cutting-edge research in the field of Physical Sciences. The department is catering to students from rural areas, aiming to make quality education accessible to a diverse demographic. The department is giving a strong emphasis on academic excellence, research, and community engagement, the department strives to create an environment conducive to holistic learning and scientific exploration.

The department is equipped with modern research facilities for the nanomaterials synthesis and processing, including Magnetic Stirrers, Hot Plates, Weighing Balance, and a High-Temperature Furnace (1400 °C). These facilities support faculty and student research activities, encouraging exploration in the realms of materials science and beyond. These facilities support a wide range of research activities, particularly in the field of materials science, allowing faculty and students to engage in meaningful and impactful research.
