Programmes and Activities Proposed
The Centre will seek to acquaint young generation with philosophy of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and his contemporary relevance. Therefore is seeks to pursue the following programmes and activities derived from main aims objectives of proposal mentioned earlier.
i) To set up resource centre for students ,teachers ,scholars and policy makers as well as administrators with its library high tech. facilities and resource persons so that as increasing number and people become acquainted with Ambedkarian ideas and principles .
ii) To organize Seminars, work-shops, Lecturer-series, on some identified themes, issued, printed material of these lectures and deliberations will be placed in the library for the users.
iii) To conduct field-work and action programmes on the basis of Ambedkarian course of actions, values.
iv) To conduct orientation, training programmes
v) To conduct full-time, part-time courses (Diploma, Certificate) for students. Short-term courses of 3 to 6 months.
vi) To conduct Research by M.Phil/Ph.D. students, other scholars both on life and work of Dr. Ambedkar impact of measures and legislations on weaker sections.
vii) To conduct action –oriented research.
viii) To explore social mobility among the Dalits and impact of legislations on them.
ix) To conduct critical inquiry of the Dis-course between Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.
x) Centre will publish articles, project, research papers, Seminar proceedings etc.
xi) The centre will provide space for voice of Dalit women in research and other activities of the centre.
xii) The centre will act National/International collaborative comparative centre and will provide the facilities to do so.
xiii) The centre will provide leadership, legal and social guidance to the needy and it will not be meant for providing employment, jobs.
xiv) To undertake such other activities and endeavors as would be considered suitable for furtherance of aims and objectives of the centre.

- “Economic Thought of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar” on 27th December 2018. Lectures Delivered by Dr. Vijaykumar Wavale, Associate Professor in Economics, Nasik, and Dr. Bharat Kadam, Deputy Collector, Aurangabad.
- “Human Rights and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar” on 4th January 2019. Lectures Delivered by Dr. Shriram Nikam, Professor (Rtd)in Political Science, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and Dr. Umesh Bagade, Professor in History, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
Project:-
The center is conducting the research work in the title “Socio-Economic Status of Slum dwellers in Aurangabad City.” The fifteen students have selected for collect the interview data.
