About Department

The Department of Forensic Science at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University was established in 2021 to offer comprehensive academic and research-oriented education in forensic science. Our department is dedicated to fostering future forensic experts who will contribute to the justice system through scientific investigation and analysis.

We offer postgraduate that blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience. With state-of-the-art laboratories, experienced faculty, and a multidisciplinary approach, we aim to provide students with expertise in various forensic disciplines such as crime scene investigation, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic physics, digital and cyber forensics, and forensic toxicology.

The department is also actively involved in research and collaborations with law enforcement agencies and forensic laboratories to address real-world challenges in forensic science.
