The University accepted the establishment resolution related to this Centre in 2006-2007. This Study Centre is progressing well with the kind financial support from the University.

In these days Gandhi’s Philosophy, thoughts and morals like Non-Violence are very much essential for whole world. So for the sake of world peace and progress Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre are speedily establishing in not just Maharashtra or India but in whole world also.

Study Center will focus on the following areas:
  • To expand and spread the thoughts and work’s of Mahatma Gandhi.
  • Social change through Gandhian Philosophy.
  • To create awareness about Gandhi’s work for deprived classes.
  • Gandhi’s Non-Violence for world peace.

Programmes and Activities
  • The Lecture of Dr. M.B. Shah from Dhule was held in the year 2008-2009.The subjects of the lectures were:

    1. Mahatma Gandhi and Religion

    2. Mahatma Gandhi and Morals

  • The lecture on ‘Gandhi and Youth Power’ by Dr. Vishwas Patil from Shada was held in 2009-2010.
  • Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre organized a camp on date 10/09/2009 main speaker of this camp was Mr. Vishwas Patil and he delivered a lecture of the subject participation of youth in creative work.
  • The lecture on ‘Importance of Gandhian Thought’s in Today’s Life’ by great ‘Sarvodayi Thinker’ Dr. Ganga Prasadji Agrawal was held on date 02/10/2009.Dr. Ganga Prasadji Agrwal also share his own experiences about Gandhiji.
  • Dr. Shriram Parihar from Khandwa (M.P.) delivered a lecture on the topic–‘Gadhian thought’s in global Scenario’ in 2010-11.
  • Personality Development Camp held by Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre on 31/03/2011 Speaker’s –Dr. Sudheer Gavane ,Dr. Ram Chavan ,Dr. Sudhakar Shendge ,Dr. Sanjay Shinde
  • 2 Oct 2012 – Organized a lecture of Mr. Sukhdev Bankar on “International Non-Violence Day” on the ‘Rural Dovelopment and Mathma Gandhi’
  • Prize Distribution of Essay Competation and Book Publication were held on 30 Jan 2013.The Chief Guest was: Dr. Sudhir Gavhane
  • 7th Sept. 2013 - Well known Hindi poet Mr. Rajesh Joshi presented his poems about Gandhian Philosophy.
  • Organized a lecture of Mr. Ramji Shinhaji from Bihar on 'Importance of Gandhian thoughts in today's life' on 8th Oct. 2013.
  • 30th January 2014- organized lecture of Mr. Bhasker Pere.
  • 2nd October 2014-organized a lecture of Prof. Dr. Devanand Shinde on 'Health and Gandhism'.
  • 30th January 2015-organized a lecture of Mr. Sunlkumar Lawte on 'Globalization and Gandhian Thought.'
