Objectives
Department faculty took interest in motivating students and gave counselling to them in their academic and career problems. BrahmanandDeshpande delivered few lectures on recent researches in Ajanta Ellora studies.
Large numbers of student were enrolled in the Department coming from marginalized sections of the society like SC’s, ST’s and OBC and religious minorities. The numbers of girls enrolled in MA courses are more than 20 percent nevertheless majority of the girl students came from marginalized and backward sections of the society. 90 percent of the students come from rural areas and other SEBC category of the society. In that light Departmental faculty takes efforts to train them in academic language and supports them in their day to day academic problems.
